FloRacing Night in America Opens 2025 Season in One Week

Illinois Speedweek Kicks Off on May 6 at La Salle Speedway

AUSTIN, Texas (April 29, 2025) — FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota kicks off the 2025 campaign one week from today.

The grand reopening of La Salle (Ill.) Speedway on Tuesday, May 6 gets the party started for three-straight nights of Illinois Speedweek for the miniseries.

On Wednesday, May 7 Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) welcomes the tour to town, while Bob Sargent’s Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway hosts the action on Thursday, May 8.

All three events boast a $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start feature event as drivers begin their pursuit of the 2025 championship crown.

On Tuesday, May 6 at La Salle (Ill.) Speedway the pit gate opens at 12 p.m. CT with the grandstand gate opening at 4 p.m., the driver’s meeting at 6 p.m., hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing action to follow.

On Wednesday, May 7 at Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) the pit gate opens at 2 p.m. CT with the grandstand gate opening at 5 p.m., the driver’s meeting at 5:30 p.m., hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing action to follow.

On Thursday, May 8 at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway the pit gate opens at 3 p.m. CT with the grandstand gate opening at 4 p.m., the driver’s meeting at 5:30 p.m., hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing action to follow.

The three-race, season-opening swing precedes the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Illinois Speedweek events at Farmer City Speedway and Fairbury Speedway, which are set for Friday and Saturday, May 9 – 10.

With 10 events on the schedule, the miniseries once again posts a $75,000 champion’s take if a driver has perfect attendance or a guaranteed $50,000 without perfect attendance.

A driver’s best eight finishes will count toward the miniseries title. If less than eight events are contested, all finishes will count toward the title.

The total point fund payout exceeds $137,000.
