FNiA I-75 Raceway Event Moves to Volunteer Speedway
$20,000-to-win Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher Set for Thursday, Sept. 11
AUSTIN, Texas (Feb. 3, 2025) — The 2025 FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota event originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11 at Tennessee’s I-75 Raceway has been moved to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.).
The $20,000-to-win event will be held as part of the second annual Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher at the famed, 4/10-mile oval.
“We didn’t realize when we put our schedule out this year that Volunteer Speedway already had the Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher planned for Thursday, September 11 at Volunteer (Speedway). Ray Cook, who promotes the I-75 Raceway event, reached out to Vic Hill at Volunteer Speedway, and they collectively made the decision to move our series race to Volunteer,” said series general manager, Ben Shelton. “I think this will be a win-win for fans and drivers, and we look forward to bringing the miniseries back to Volunteer Speedway for the first time since our inaugural season in 2021.”
Meanwhile, the Tarheel 53, which was originally slated for September 11 at I-75 Raceway has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 25 and will pay $10,053-to-win under the Southern All-Star (SAS) Dirt Racing Series banner.
The 2025 FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota season opens on Tuesday, May 6 at La Salle (Ill.) Speedway with the facility’s grand reopening, which also serves as the opening round of the annual Illinois Speedweek.
FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota action with the 2025 Illinois Speedweek continues on Wednesday, May 7 at Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) before rolling into Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Thursday, May 8.
The three-race, season-opening swing precedes the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Illinois Speedweek events at Farmer City Speedway and Fairbury Speedway, which are set for Friday and Saturday, May 9 – 10.
