CFNiA Opens World Week at Eldora Speedway

$20,000-To-Win Super Late Model Event Set for Wednesday, Sept. 4

AUSTIN, Texas (August 29, 2024) — Castrol® FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota returns to Eldora Speedway on Wednesday, September 4 with a $20,000-to-win program that kicks off the 54th annual World 100 week at the famed Ohio oval.

With his second win of the year with the tour in the last event at Lernerville Speedway on August 21, Bobby Pierce finds himself back atop the series standings with a 9-point advantage over Ricky Thornton Jr. with Daulton Wilson 57 markers back in third, Jason Feger 72 points removed from the lead in fourth and Garrett Alberson 75 points out of the top spot in fifth.

Spencer Hughes, Dennis Erb Jr., Tyler Erb, Myles Moos, Brandon Sheppard, Tim McCreadie, Carson Ferguson, Shannon Babb, Devin Moran, and Hudson O’Neal round out the Top 15 in the latest series standings.

A driver’s best eight finishes count toward the championship, which posts $75,000 for perfect attendance ($50,000 without perfect attendance) from a total point that eclipses $137,000 divided among the final Top 10 in the standings.

The fifth round of the 2024 Castrol FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota rolls into Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday, September 4. The night’s program is headlined by a complete $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start Super Late Model program, which was rescheduled from Wednesday, June 5 due to wet weather that struck shortly after the completion of Dirt Draft hot laps.

The program on Wednesday, September 4 will be a complete new show with drivers registering and drawing once again.

The event serves as a stand-alone lead-in to the 54th annual World 100 weekend which spans September 5 – 7 and culminates with a $54,000-to-win finale on Saturday, September 7.
The pit gate on Wednesday, September 4 opens at 11 a.m. ET with the grandstand gate opening at 2 p.m. The driver’s meeting is at 5:00 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing action to follow.
The tech line in the pits opens at 12 p.m. ET.
