Brandon Sheppard goes back-to-back in One for the Road at FALS
Monday night found the team at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway, where they entered the second annual One For The Road presented by I-Beam Sliding Doors. The $15,000-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event drew a field of 31 entries to the ¼-mile oval. Brandon qualified sixth fastest in time trials before winning his heat race to earn the third-starting spot for the night’s 50-lap feature. Sheppard worked his way to the lead on a lap 20 restart, and once out front never looked back on his way to his second-straight triumph in the event and his 15th overall win of the season. Tanner English, Bobby Pierce, Mike Spatola, and Gordy Gundaker completed the Top-5 finishers. (Josh James Artwork)
